We have been breeding miniature longhaired dachshunds since the mid 70’s (yes, as in 1970-probably before some of you were even born!) We have myself and husband, my daughter in Colorado along with us, and our other daughter in Texas. All 3 of us breed and usually have pups available throughout the year in different colors, all Long Hair. We take great pride in raising loving and happy babies. Dachshunds are very sweet dogs that give lots of love and attention. They range from being great lap dogs that will share your bed, to very independent outdoor babies. Dachshunds do enjoy love and affection, so they tend to enjoy sharing their toys with their mom or dad all the way to learning some great tricks. One of their favorite treats is cheese! You can get them to do almost anything with some cheese! Our dogs even know where the cheese is stored in the deli drawer and go crazy when it’s opened-even if they are not the reason why you are opening that drawer LOL!
Dachshunds do not require a great amount of time in grooming, just regular brushing, and only require a small amount of exercise. Be sure to brush those ears regularly so they do not knot and tangle! They are very adaptable, and enjoy living in either indoor or outdoor homes. They can be stubborn, so lots of rewards work the best for them, and regular bathroom breaks when young.
Our pups are bred and raised in Southern Colorado, and North Texas. We do pride ourselves in raising pure AKC registered longhaired dachshunds. We do not inbreed shorthaired dachshunds in any of our litters. All of our babies will arrive at your home with full AKC registration and a copy of their pedigree, current on all vaccines and worming. We also provide shipping at an additional cost. Non-refundable deposits are required to hold the pup of your choice. We are family run breeders who ensure all babies are placed in loving, happy, and safe homes.
